👉 You’re looking for inspiration because you don’t know how to get started and you spend all day looking for ideas on the internet?
👉 You feel lonely in your art practice and wish you where part of a group to talk and share your work with other artists to spark active discussions and get feedback?
👉 You love to work with different materials but find it difficult to bring it all together to create a successful composition?
Sounds like me at the beginning of my art journey: I collected all kinds of art supplies but didn’t know where to start, staring at the blank page and was afraid of failure. Many times, I felt stuck in ruts.
What did I change? I realized that I need to keep creating and exploring to overcome the feeling of stuckness and the fear of failure. This was the starting point for my artistic way. Over the last years I learned the importance of playfulness and letting go in collage and mixed media art, painting and other creative efforts. And just how magical shared inspiration can be and that a supportive community makes a monumental difference in the artistic journey. Because active, threaded discussions are exchanges that go beyond on-way comments.

I have loved the Art & Inspiration Community since I joined several weeks ago. There is such a rich variety of learning opportunities available in this community, based on Lydia Rink’s excellent instructional videos, but also the collegiality of other members who lend support and assistance to one another’s collage postings.
